Terms & Conditions of Use
Please read these terms carefully before purchasing or using any Simz Power products. By placing an order, you agree to comply with the following:
1. Installation Requirements
All generator units must be installed by a certified electrician.
Incorrect installation may result in damage and will void the warranty.
2. Component Warranty
There is no guarantee on alternators or starter motors.
Damage resulting from misuse or improper handling is not covered.
3. Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) Usage
Units with an ATS must never run without fuel.
Excessive automatic starts without fuel may burn the starter and damage the fuel pump, which is not covered under warranty.
4. Tampering & Modifications
Any tampering, modifications, or unauthorized repairs to the unit will void the warranty.
5. Power Ratings
Prime Power (PRP)
PRP is the continuous output available.
The average load must not exceed 65% of the prime rating over a period of 250 operating hours.
Operation at 100% prime power must not exceed 50 hours per year.
A 10% overload is permitted for a maximum of 1 hour, not exceeding 25 hours per year.
Standby Power (LTP)
LTP is the maximum output for up to 200 hours per year at variable load.
The average load must not exceed 75% of the standby rating.
Operation at full standby rating must not exceed 25 hours per year.
No overload is permitted.
The generator must never operate at standby rating in parallel with public utility power.
6. Warranty
All generators come with a 1-year or 800-hour warranty, whichever occurs first.
Warranty applies only when the unit is installed, maintained, and used according to these terms.
